Let me apologize because this tutorial fails so demn much. :'D

But oh well, you wanted to know how I draw, so here it is.
I would have finished the drawing but I really don't feel like it.

just still looking through your stuff because I never had much a chance to, and I'm really bored over here, ehehe ^^;

But, ehm
The base thing looks very similar to what I do a lot of the time, just mine are always really complex or sketchy @_@ XD

And I agree on the tracing comment you made, but for learning, practice, and such, it actually can be kind of useful
When I was helping a friend with something, once I told him to even trace something before, but not pay close attention to getting the detail spot on like it was, but take the form and shapes and work with them, and then we mapped it out, and blah blah blah, boring stuff xD
then it goes into complex bases again, and, yeah XD
